Course objectives
The students acquire and deepen the basic knowledge of the Dutch language - basic grammar and the basic vocabulary (approximately 1200 words). All four skills will develop as well - reading, writing, speaking and listening. The student is supposted to reach the A2 level of the Common European Framework for Languages at the end of this course. His language skills will be tested by the CNaVt exam - profile PTIT: Profile Touristic and Informal Language Skill. The aim of the course is that the student is able to communicate in the basic language situations in Dutch.

Teaching methods
Intensive student-orientated seminars: writing, reading, conversation, presentations, prosody, listening and language exercises.
Assessment methods
6 lessons per week, 4 with a Czech speaker 2 with a native speaker. The student is obliged to actively participate in the lessons. The course is finished with a qualifying examination that consists of a written part (all four skills are tested) and of an oral part.
