Course objectives (in Czech)
Kurz bezprostředně navazuje na přednášku Geografie obyvatelstva a osídlení I. V úvodu kurzu jsou zopakovány základní poznatky z demografie formou "aktualizace" informací o demografickém vývoji v ČR a v Evropě. Obsah kurzu je možné rozdělit do čtyř tematických oblastí: (1) prostorová mobilita obyvatelstva (migrace a dojížďka), (2) socioekonomická struktura obyvatelstva, (3) geografie osídlení a (4) historický vývoj obyvatelstva českých zemí. Diskutované metody a techniky si studenti prakticky ověřují ve cvičeních a formou seminární práce, v níž každý student podává komplexní charakteristiku obyvatelstva vybraného okresu.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Prostorová mobilita obyvatelstva a její typy. Migrace: základní pravidelnosti, struktura podle pohlaví, věku, vzdělání a důvodů, vývoj vnitřní migrace v ČR. Migrace: analytické ukazatele, hodnocení migrační atraktivity, modelování migrace. Přehled hlavních historických (mezikontinentálních) migrací, nucené migrace. Vztah migrace a přirozené měny. Obyvatelstvo ČR podle místa trvalého pobytu v době narození (rodáci). Dojížďka za prací a do škol (v ČR): struktura, analytické ukazatele. Využití údajů o dojížďce a vyjížďce při geografické regionalizaci. Struktura obyvatelstva ČR (a její vývoj): podle ekonomické aktivity (ekonomických sektorů), vzdělání, národnosti a náboženského vyznání. Světové jazyky, jejich klasifikace (jazykové rodiny a skupiny). Fáze vývoje geografického studia osídlení. Vznik a vývoj venkovských a městských sídel, význam antické urbanistické tradice. Funkce měst. Definice města. Celosvětový přehled stupně urbanizace. Sídelní systémy a jejich formy. Pravidlo velikostního pořadí měst a jeho aplikace. Teorie centrálních míst. Geografie města. Modely vnitřní struktury města. Osídlení českých zemí v prehistorickém období (pravěk až raný středověk): archeologické kultury a jejich nositelé. Obyvatelstvo a osídlení českých zemí ve středověku: zdroje dat, kolonizace, zakládaní měst. Obyvatelstvo českých zemí v protostatistickém období (16. až 18. století).
