The course can be applied for by graduates of the course Portuguese for complete beginners II, in which students have acquired an initial insight into the Portuguese language in the Portuguese and Brazilian variants and basic phrases at the A1 level, but also by other interested parties who have mastered the basics of these grammatical phenomena in Portuguese : pronunciation rules, personal and possessive pronouns, present, future and past tenses free of regular and irregular verbs, basic numerals, time expressions, prepositions.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the development of receptive and productive speaking skills in Portuguese with an emphasis on communicative Portuguese.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to have a short conversation in Portuguese requiring a simple exchange of information, they will consolidate their knowledge of basic practical phrases related to the thematic areas listed in the syllabus; understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas such as personal and family information, shopping, work. He can describe his basic needs in simple words.
Syllabus
topics: deepening knowledge of topics from the previous semester (introduction, personal information, food and drink, restaurants, orientation in the city, weather, seeing the doctor, Portugal and Brazil) and new topics (leisure, family, travel, housing, shopping, animals) grammar: regular and irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, demonstrative pronouns, imperative form, gradation of adjectives and adjectives, etc.
