Prerequisites
Knowledge of Spanish at A1 level is welcome (not required). The course is also suitable for students who are learning Czech as a foreign language and have reached A2 level.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course, is conducted primarily in Czech with the use of English. The main aim is to develop the participants' cognitive and presentation skills and thus contribute to their personal growth. Therefore, the emphasis is on practical exercises, activities and tasks that form part of the foreign language cognitive training. Knowledge of English at least at A2 level is assumed.
Learning outcomes
In addition to the educational component itself (focused on the development of cognitive and presentational competencies), the overall concept of the course is also beneficial for the participant, which can be conceived as an appropriate form of active approach to targeted personal development and psychohygiene thanks to the composition and nature of individual exercises.
Syllabus
  • The core of the course is an overview of useful practices and strategies, as well as appropriate IT tools that contribute significantly to the systematic development of communication competences, which are a prerequisite for further professional growth.
Teaching methods
Seminars, exercises, workshops. Activities carried out individually/ in pairs/ in groups.
