Course objectives
Methodology of Science (PVMV) Students can be introduced to the principal issues of scientific work in general and particularly in economics. In addition to the analysis of the concept of science itself, the lectures explore the logic of research procedure from defining the problem through formulating hypotheses to the individual methods and techniques of research including the techniques of work with scientific literature. This part can help students in elaborating the dissertation. Finally, the course speculates about the possibilities of forecasting the development of science as such and particularly the development of economic science. Credit requirements: a draft of a research project. Examination: oral.
