Course objectives
International Financial Institutions (PFMEFI)
The course develops the knowledge about the development of the international financial system gained so far. It deals with characteristics and trends of the development of an international finance market and its segments. It also introduces the institutional structure and profile of the leading international financial institutions, analyses their activity and impacts on a national economy, various integration groupings as well as on the world economy.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand and explain the development of international monetary cooperation and functioning of the leading international financial institutions and integration groupings.

  • 7) International monetary and financial cooperation of EU countries,
