Course objectives
The basic aim of the lectures is an introduction to several basic techniques used within economic modeling. Every participant should be able to ponder partial issues of economic modeling, form his/her own opinion connected to modeling, and suggest their own modifications.

  • Solution of a baseline RBC model
  • Steady state solution
  • Dynare, Iris
  • RBC model with human capital
  • Model data preparation
  • Kalman filter
