Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
Course objectives
Intensive summer school of English language focusing on business and economics with the potential application in many aspects of professional life. The expected level of general English of the participants should range between B1+ to B2 CEFR level, which will enable learners to acquire specialist business vocabulary. The course will be run exclusively in English and will be organised in an interactive and fun way. The course is designed to enhance the oral production mainly by delivering presentations and discussions. Teaching material will be part of the package.

  • Course syllabus: Monday 11 September 8.30 - 9.00 welcoming the participants, opening the course morning session: Company Structure, afternoon session: Human Resources Tuesday 12 September morning session: Customer Relations, afternoon session: Project Management Wednesday 13 September morning session: Graph Description, Business Cycle, afternoon session: Finance and Investment Thursday 14 September morning session: Taxes and Accounting, afternoon session: round-up, discussions, revision, presentations, feedback morning session: 9:00 - 11:30 including a 15-minute break afternoon session: 13:00 - 15:30 including a 15-minute break The course will be taught by a team of experienced Business English teachers at the Faculty of Economics and Administration.
