- Course objectives
- 1. On the basis of lectures and interactive interpretation lead students to learn the methodology of science.
2. Shaping ability to creatively implement the theory of science in scientific research - Syllabus
- Introduction (prerequisites for successful management and completion of the course).
- 1) circuit: The research subject, research objectives , research methods . Methodology and methods. Scientific debate and argumentation.
- 2) circuit: General and specific methods of scientific inquiry.
- 3circuit: Science, philosophy, methodology. Normative and non normative methodology.
- 4) circuit: Positivism. Contemporary positivism. Verification. Critical rationalism. Falsification. Paradigm. The methodology of scientific research programs. Methodological anarchism. Structuralism. Constructivism. Operacionalismus.Cartesian epistemology and non cartesian epistemology. Phenomenology . Hermeneutics . Dialectical- materialist methodology. Postmodernism. Implementation of methodology in scientific research. Speech acts (Searle ), a priori knowledge of nature and the principle of verification (Quine), neopragmatismus (Rorty )

- Assessment methods
- The examination consists of two parts:
Written project. Its content is think about the thesis process (object exploration, subject of exploration, research objectives, selected, respectively. methodology assumed, anticipated methods of scientific work, hypothesis, the expected benefits for the theory and practice). Detailed methodological links to project processing are placed in the lectures.
Debate. Consists of project defense where students in a debate justifies its approach. The discussion is conducted in the range of taught and rehearsed the substance with respect to the methodology used and the methods of scientific work in process and project-driven debate. Its essence is the ability of student to respond creatively to teachers questions within the basic literature and lectured methodological problems which are related to the project processed.
Assessment: level of processing of the project and creative management of the problems of philosophy and methodology of science in the range studied and taught professional level materials and creative discussion of the fundamental problems of literature and lectures.
