Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
understand and explain the basics of various forms of swimming, exercise, recovery and rehabilitation in the aquatic environment
on the basis of acquired knowledge to practice health-oriented physical activities in water
create a design and apply the water movement activities in the process of rehabilitation and regeneration
make a rational decision on a combination of rehabilitation-reconditioning exercises in water using devices
Syllabus
  • Basic position on the surface, support and drive flipper movement, treading water, swimming and underwater orientation.
  • Exercise in migration and use of water aqua exercise aids in the transitional water (noodles, gloves, weights, girdle).
  • Exercises in deep water and the use of aqua exercise aids in the deep water (bands, weights, gloves, noodles).
  • Using aqua aids in relaxation and regeneration.
  • Exercise, swimming and regeneration in pairs and groups.
  • Correction effects of swimming modes (character, breast, crawl) and their modifications.
  • Health swimming with using tools (plates, noodles, fins).
