- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is understanding to principles and specific characteristics of human psyché development, to sele cted theories of ontogenesis, to basic terminology. Psycho-motor development is stressed. Student should be able to describe characteristics of ontogenetic period of human being with application to practice, should be familier with practical skills (communication, behavior in general as well as toward special populaton and minorities). Age cohorts on the edge will be in focus of the subject (preschoolers, pubescents, seniors).

- Lectures - seminars: • Developmental psychology in the system of psychology disciplines. Basic terminology. • Determination of psyche oh human being. Ontogenetic periods. selected theories. • Characteristics (descriptio) of phases: pre-natal, early childhood, pre-schooling. • School maturation, pre-pubescence, pubescence, teen-aging. • Adolescents: early, middle age, late (parentshi, grandparentship). • Aging - terminal phases of ontogeneses. • Self-perception in ontogeneses. • Children weith special needs (in family context).
