- Course objectives
- The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The course introduces the basics of self-defence as well as the legal regulations and social standards influencing the sport. Hand to Hand fighting: HTH is a Russian martial full contact sport. It is a mixture of martial arts such as kickboxing, Judo, Jiu jitsu. Currently it is the most popular full contact sport in Russia and Asia. Gradually it is being introduced and trained in other countries. National and international competitions are organized and athletes compete in kimono, gloves and shin guards. HTH very quickly replaced the very popular Combat Sambo. The course is suitable for all those who want to try this type martial sports, but also for those interested in mixed martial arts, such as MMA, BJJ, Grappling, Kickboxing, K1, Thai boxing, Sanda, Karate. 3 forms of HTH: 1. Hand to Hand Fighting 2. Personal Self-Defense 3. Professional Self-Defense - HTH was first developed and practiced in the army.
- Syllabus
- The course trains basic specific skills: sacrifice, throwing, striking, grappling and further self-defence techniques. Fitness exercises supporting the development of self-defencing skills as well as special women self-defence are also practised. Students will learn the basics of martial gymnastics, falling techniques. They will improve their physical skills and abilities, which supports a healthy lifestyle. They will take up various forms of fitness training, and learn about health aspects of combat sports. They will train hitting and kicking techniques, HTH, effective throws, and fighting on the ground. Trainings on boxing machines, Lapacho, controlled and free partners´ exercises will be introduced.
