- Course objectives
- The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle P937 Nordic Walking is a new sport in our country and ranks among hiking. It is walking with sticks. 40% of the burden exerted on walking can be transfered from legs to arms. The walking technique is very important. The spreading of the burden to all limbs, removing the burden off knee and hip joints as well as the upright character of the movement are great advantages of this sport. The basics of this sport and its technique are introduced to students during the term. The aim is to introduce the sport to students , to teach them the correct technique and to improve thier fitness.
