Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to control basketball ball, to use individual offense game activities, to choose right defense decision of the concrete situacion. Students understand basketball preparation and training plan, they can analyze and evaluate training process, they know rules of basketball match. Specifics for RVS- students are able to do and they know compensation exercise and rehabilitation for basketball, they practically know fitness and athletic work.
Syllabus
  • Theory of basketball, basketball rules, beginners, training plan during season, prepairing of basketball team, evaluation of players. RVS- ballhandling, grounding games, using skippingrope, hardball, bench, compensation exercises, training drills, basketball match MAN, MCR- the didactic drill of individual offensive skills- dribbling (right and left hand), shooting, technic of the pass in place and on the move, unblocking the player without the ball, with the ball, in place and on the move, defence actions of the players.

Assessment methods
graded credit, MAN,MCR- dribling L and R hand, change dribbling hand front of body, passing and lay up from both sides, situations 1/1 shooting after pass- pass and go, stand by jump and to make closed escape. RVS- To create semester paper about chosen topic, with minimal range 4 sheets.
