Course objectives
Information about the problems of social and vocational rehabilitation. Social patient solutions, procedures and methods of vocational rehabilitation, inclusion of physically disabled to work. The system of social welfare state. - individual skills training leading to independence and self sufficiency- training to work with assistive devices
Syllabus
  • Organization of comprehensive rehabilitation and its implementation. Social rehabilitation - goals and means. Basic social legislation. State social care organizations. Vocational rehabilitation - goals and means. The issue of preparation for vocational rehabilitation. Ergodiagnostic examination. Assessment of medical fitness. Inclusion of persons with disabilities in the health workforce. Retraining. Optimization of working conditions for the disabled. Analysis of workplaces and work activities. Assessment aspects of musculoskeletal disorders. The current international classification of disability. The issue of retirement solutions.
