Course objectives
In the continuity of the course Law and sport, to obtain concrete and practical orientation in making and using general and sports norms in the sport environment on its company and business level. Understanding the position of juridical personalities and natural persons as authorities in managerial structures of both national and international associations. Acquiring knowledge of legal protection and liability.
Syllabus
  • 1. Aspect of relations in legal code and internal sport norms, including sport specifications 2. Different opinions on the relations between the State and sport and sport sponsorship in the Czech Republic 3. Relation between sport and law, influence on sport entities 4. Taxes of sport entities from the valid judicature point of view 5. Entities in sport, juridical personalities and natural persons – difficulties with amendatory Acts 6. Czech professionalism, modifications and contracts 7. Contractual relations of sport entities, form, content, difficulties 8. Liability in sport and boundaries between civil and juridical liability 9. Liability of autonomous entities under internal norms 10. Legal liability in sport in the Czech Republic 11. Legal liability in sport in the world and at OG 12. EU and ESD sport interference 13. Sport and doping affairs

Teaching methods
The subject is taught in the form of lectures with the active participation of students. Within the tutorials, students’ are introduced basic topics. Students also discuss concrete examples from practice that deal with sport and law.
Assessment methods
After attending the tutorials (within the compulsory range), students receive credits for this course. This course is completed by an oral exam. If the course in not completed by an exam, student can be given his/her credits only after passing a written test. The assessment scale for the exam is A – F.
