Course objectives
Developing knowledge about the importance of the subject Health Psychology highlights the need to change attitudes towards this issues, particularly through practical introduction to the issue of Health Psychology theoretical and practical approaches. In this course you can use a range of techniques from the motion activities, especially physical education teachers and rehabilitation workers should these techniques theoretically and practically controlled.
Syllabus
  • • The concept of health, his conception and a healthy personality. Somatic, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of health. • Mental, its importance, basic concepts, methods, significance of mental hygiene, general mental health conditions, adaptation and maladaptation, and their speeches, the importance of mental hygiene in the prevention of psychosomatic diseases. • Risk factors threatening mental health: stress, diet. Physiology of stress, stress symptoms, diagnosis of stress, somatization of stress, stressors analysis, initial tests revealing symptoms of stress. The consequences of stress. Coping strategies. • Relationship difficult life situations and techniques of dealing with them, leading to health. Theory of life events. • Human health and emotionality, the influence of emotions on human health, emotional injury. • The behavior injurious to health - alcoholism, smoking, drug addiction, gambling, and others. • Neuroticism in human life, neuroses, neurotičnost neurotičnost teachers and pupils. • syndrome of burn - out (burnout) and coping strategies. • Lifestyle and nutrition - time management, daily routine of man, relaxation, physical activity and sport. • Nutrition and its role in disease prevention, food for relaxation and vital substances for the importance of physical and mental health. • Sleep, his výhnam for Health, Alpha brain activity, relaxation techniques and self-regulation, self-reflection. • Power motivation, aspiration level, training to enhance physical endurance. • Mental training, using techniques of working with the subconscious mind in healing and disease prevention. • Social aspects of mental hygiene. The importance of psychosocial skills in protecting mental health. • Assertiveness and its use in defense against stress. • Harmonisation of physical and mental health, the way to bio-psycho-socio-spiritual well-being man, the meaning of meaning in life. health lifestyle. • Physical activity leading to health and their uses: psychomotor, physical music therapy - dance (afrorytmy), drama, hingarjóga. • Psychotherapy and its use in the personal life of individuals, the importance of psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic approaches. • A healthy lifestyle - healthy school, healthy family, healthy town - Health projects.
