- Course objectives
- The aim of the course Fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders II. is to acquaint the students with manual diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. At the same time, students should master basic manual techniques and be able to professionally and successfully applied in practice, and thus their ability to actively search for pathology and to choose a suitable method of therapy. Students also manage to perform client education and training autotherapy. Diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders II. includes the area of the upper limbs, shoulder girdle and orofacial region.
- Syllabus
- Diagnosis and treatment of skin, subcutaneous tissue and fascia of the upper limb. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the forearm and hand, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in the distal interphalangeal, proximal interphalangeal, metacarpophalangeal and metacarpophalangeal joints of the hand. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in mediokarpálního and radiokarpálního joint. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the elbow joint, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in the proximal and distal radioulnárního joint and elbow joint. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the shoulder girdle - the arm muscles, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the shoulder girdle - the ventral part of the trunk muscles, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the shoulder girdle - dorsal part of the trunk muscles, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in the glenohumeral, skapulotorakálního, acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joint. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and orofacial muscles - muscles, muscles of the oral floor, and nejazylkové podjazylkové muscles, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in the temporomandibular joints.

- Teaching methods
- Training is a practical form. Students are first introduced to the issue theoretically, it is also demonstrated their technique correctly and follows its training. During the training of the students and the teacher is checking the correct implementation of correction. Teaching and training is carried out in small study groups.
