- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the history of media in the key countries of the Euro-American civilisation area (Great Britain, France, Germany and USA) from their early beginnings, in particular from the emergence of mass communication in connection with the invention of the printing press, up to the end of the 18th century, when the French and American revolutions paved way to the transition to civil society both in Europe and America.
