Course objectives
The course aims to develop students' ability to translate psychological knowledge into practice through dissemination materials and texts intended for both professional and general audiences. Students will contribute to the creation of texts for the website diagnostikaditete.cz, which is focused on supporting psychological practice in the Czech Republic. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of psychological knowledge, the accessibility of materials for different target audiences, and critical evaluation of current dissemination strategies.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will be able to: create dissemination materials and texts aimed at both professional and general audiences; apply psychological knowledge in practical materials that are comprehensible to various target groups; analyze and discuss current issues in the dissemination of psychology through examples of recent popularization outputs; design texts for a professional website, considering the needs of the readers and the platform's goals.
Syllabus
  • First session: Assigning texts and discussing topics and format. Second session: Supervision of developing texts, consultation on content and audience needs. Third session: Discussion on current examples of psychological dissemination. Fourth session: Final consultation and preparation of texts for publication.

In the case of studying abroad, the course can be completed remotely. The student must submit texts of agreed-upon quality and length, electronically, according to the established schedule.
