Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to understand political systems of the Post-Communist Countries, especially so-called Visegrad four countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) to learn basic informations about the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) to know the most important data about their development after 1989 to analyze and identify similarities and differencies in the development of the political systems of these countries

Assessment methods
Seminar paper (maximum 10 points), control test (maximum 4 points) and written final test (maximum 36 points). It is necessary to get at least 31 points of maximum 50 points and at least 20 points out of 36 in the final test.
