Course objectives (in Czech)
Kurs se věnuje bezpečnostním a etickým problémům, které jsou svázány s  vývojem a rozšířením biotechnologií. Charakterizuje základní nové hrozby a možnosti jejich prevenci a řešení. Absolventi kursu se seznámí spektrem hrozeb souvisejících s high-tech, jejich definicí, typologií a charakterem, etickými a právními otázkami.

  • 1. Historie, biologické zbraně, genetika 2. Genetické modifikace 3. Biologické zbraně a bioterorismus 4. Otázky intelektuálního vlastnictví 5. Etické otázky
Teaching methods (in Czech)
Četba literatury, position papery na každou vyučovací hodinu, diskuse v seminářích
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Průběžné hodnocení během celého semestru (písemných příprav i diskusí), za které je možné získat maximálně 100 bodů. Pro absolvování předmětu je nutno získat nejméně 60 bodů. Bodování: 0-59 = F, 60-68 = E, 69-77 = D, 78-86 = C, 87-94 = B, 94-100 = A.
