Course objectives (in Czech)
The aim of this course is to study political systems and political processes of the three Baltic States, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, in comparative perspective. Circumstances of constitutional processes are to be analysed as well as powers of three main institutions, parliamentary, presidential, and of cabinet of ministers according to the letter of the constitutions an in political practice. Political party systems will be analysed. European integration and the Europeanization perspective will be included as a topic of interest as well. Reflections of all political developments in the campaigns of referendums will be presented,
