- Course objectives
- Course is a follow-up of "Human physiology" and focuses on structure and functioning of central and peripheral nervous system. At the end of the course students should be able to explain neurophysiological mechanisms of perception, information processing, movement, memory and learning, behaviour, motivational systems, emotions and feelings. Student will understand that defense behaviour and stress response are important factors in aetiology of psychosomatic diseases. The knowledge student can utilize later during studies of clinical psychology and psychotherapy.
