Course objectives
The course introduces the conceptualisation of right-wing extremism and phenomenons related (racism, xenophobia, anti-semitism). Attention is paid to political parties and social movements in Europe. Students get to know concepts, strategie, changes in the right-wing extremism. Also possibilites of counter measures against right-wing extremism are discussed.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to identify right-wing extremism, radicalism and far right. They will be able to apply theoretical knowledge on case studies and identify features of extremism/radicalism and far right.

Assessment methods
Students are expected to attend every seminar meeting and participate actively in class. Students will receive a final letter grade (A-F) for the semester based on the following components: - Presentation at seminar meeting (maximum of 10 points) - Written test (maximum of 20 points) Minumum of 60 % (20 points) is needed to pass the course.
