Course objectives
The task of this optional subject is to afford deeper knoledge of law of cooperatives, than can offer the commercial law.
Syllabus
  • Course description: 1. The development and legal regulations of the cooperative movement in the Czech Republic 2. Basic principals of the cooperative movement 3. The cooperative - the concept, functions, features, differences from other entrepreneurial forms 4. The formation of a cooperative - types of the formation, legal requirements for the formation of a cooperative 5. The cooperative assets, 6. The formation and termination of the membership in a cooperative, membership and employment contract in a cooperative, settlement between the cooperative and its former member 7. The organs of the cooperative, principles of the cooperative democracy 8. Transformation of cooperatives 9. Cooperatives - merger, division and liquidation, articles of association, their function and content 10. Cooperative loan banks
