The course is offered to students of any study field.
Abstract
The aim of the subject is to make the students acquainted with some of the key classical works in the field of comparative constitutional law as well as with some examples of the current works in progress or fresh pieces by leading academics. This way, the "academic literacy" of doctoral students will be enhanced.
Learning outcomes
The student will be: - acquainted with the key CCL literature - able to understand current trends in comparative constitutional law and EU constitutional law
Key topics
In autumn 2020, our course will deal with topics of national constitutional identities. It will explore the notions of national identity, constitutional identity, sovereignty, EU values, rule of law, and many others.
