- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to analyze the conflic-of-laws and procedural aspects of intellectual property rights with international element. The course focuses on the analysis of theoretical gounds of both fields (territoriality vs. universality of intellectual property rights), lex loci protectionis, characteristic features of both legal fields, absolute vs. relative rights, contractual and non-contractual obligations.
- Learning outcomes
- This course is aimed at: - orientation in conflict of laws and procedural issues of intellectual property rights with an international element - description and analyis of relevant legislation (EU law, international conventions, national laws) in this area - analyze trends and new developmnents
