- Teaching methods
- Lectures, group discussions, group/individual seminar activities, case studies, videos, computer modelling, application of expert systems and neuron networks.
- Assessment methods
- Programme members will be required to submit for assessment a written assignment of between 2,000 and 2,500 words. The students will produce a critical analysis of the situation specified in the case study presented to them or, alternatively, in a selected company. Following the analysis, the students will propose changes that can be made in the selected sub-system of the company (such as in the organisational structure of the company). The changes proposed by the students should support the overall corporate strategy as well as the individual strategies. A commentary presenting a theoretical view of the planned and controlled change should be an integral part of the proposal. The work will further include a brief proposal of the individual steps to be taken when making the change and, if appropriate, a schedule applicable to the chosen change.
