Course objectives
At the end of the course, student should be able to:
- understand basic issues in private legal regulation of ICT
- analyze and solve particular problems of private legal jurisdiction on the internet
- analyze and solve particular problems of electronic contracting
- analyze and solve particular problems of the use of electronic signatures
- analyze and solve particular problems of intellectual property on-line
Syllabus
  • 1. introduction, assignment of questionnaires;
  • 2. internet jurisdiction;
  • 3. electronic signature, electronic documents;
  • 4. electronic contracting;
  • 5. legal protection of software and webpages;
  • 6. ISPs and their responsibility;
  • 7. domain names and domain disputes;
  • 8. personality protection, data protection;
  • 9. specific forms of responsibility - linking, framing, etc.;
  • 10. IP protection of multimedia;
  • 11. internet as technology market;
  • 12. unfair competition on the internet;
