- Course objectives
- The course aim is develop the students ability to use the basic and optional statistics for the analysis of sociable phenomens.
- Learning outcomes
- After completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- applying statistical methods in research;
- understand regulation also from the perspective of statistical data;
- have basic knowledge or laws dealing with records and statistics. - Syllabus
- Basis of statistics.
- Descriptive statistics: Terms of descriptive statistics, Characteristic of position, Characteristic of variability.
- Incidental choice.
- Indexs: Laspeyr's index, Paasche's index, Fisher's index.
- The coefficients of correlation.
- Options of graphical representation of results.

- Lectures and practical seminars focused on application of knowledge from the lectures.Preparing for the processing of project applications of methods of descriptive statistics for quantitative research regarding positive legal fields, respectively as well as economy.

Fulfilling requirements:

- Students will be offered topics for individual projects so they could choose the topic they would like to concentrate on. At the final consultation, the students will present the outcome of their research in the area of statistics before the teachers of this subject.
