- Course objectives
- The course focuses on the importance, function and institutes of the Roman law of inheritance. Especially focuses on the testament and the intestate succession, however also gives attention to other institutes mortis causa
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students will be able to;
Explain the development of the inheritance law in Rome considering the social changes;
Characterize specific institutes of the law of inheritance;
Describe relationships between these institutes;
Analyse circumstances in which these institutes were developed - Syllabus
