Course objectives
Within the framework of the course EU Social Policy students will deal with research of the EC law concerning the social policy. Firs, they will pay attention to the development of the social policy in the European Community from its establishment to present. Than, they will deal with particular issues of individual and collective labour law including related case-law of the European Court of Justice. They will also pay attention to the regulation of social security in the European Community law. At the end of the course students will be able to orientate in the regulation of EU social law.

Semester paper within the framework of which the EC law regulation and its implementation into the Czech labour law or social security law relating to the topic of the dissertation thesis will be analysed..
