Course objectives
The course completes the topical complex Preparation of Dissertation Thesis II. The purpose of the course is to develop the independent creative thinking and abilities of scientific discussion in the scientific community of related field of study at national level. The purpose of the course is to lead the student to independent creative work of at least the standard in the field and the ability to publish the results in an appropriate format. The aim is especially to develop the ability to select a suitable topic to work on (for a given form of publication), the ability to work on this topic at a professional level in an appropriate structure, to clearly define the subject and aim of the text, to formulate conclusions, to master the publication process, including the peer review process.
Learning outcomes
The student will gain experience in the preparation of a professional publication and develop the skills necessary for this, especially the ability to select an appropriate topic, the ability to develop this topic at a professional level in an appropriate structure, to clearly define the subject and objective of the text, to formulate conclusions, to manage the publication process, including peer review. At the same time, the output is the actual advancement of the student in the area addressed in the publication, i.e. the elaboration of part of the dissertation topic.
