Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should be able to understand basics of system of law and basics of single legal branches. Legal problems in health care are discussed in-depth.
Syllabus
  • State and law – basic terms of legal theory, legal branches, sources of law. Basics of labour law – sources, labour code – structure, subjects of labour law, trade unions – basic information, content of labour relationship, health protection, liability, special labour conditions for specific categories of employees, remuneration. Health care law – sources, public health insurance, subjects of public health insurance and their duties, health insurance funds, patients rights, medical liability, confidentiality, protection of privacy, detention, health care professions, health care administration, self-government in health care.
