Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the physiological and pathophysiological basis of diabetes mellitus forming a group of diseases of different etiology common denominator - hyperglycemia, disease conditional absolute lack of of insulin or relative deficiency in its reduced efficiency. The student on the basis of acquired knowledge does not forget even psychological, educational and social aspects that directly relate primarily to the education of patients., disease conditional absolute lack of of insulin or relative deficiency in its reduced efficiency.
