Course objectives
At the end of this course, the student has the knowledge application of galvanic current, iontophoresis, diadynamic, low-frequency currents and their application through mid-frequency currents, ultrasound and application of combination therapy.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- apply electrotherapy
- apply galvanic current, galvanotherapy, indications and contraindications
- apply iontophoresis
- use diadynamic, indications, and methods of
application - apply interference streams, applications, effects and indications
- apply Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)
- to apply impulse therapy, used current shapes and their effects
- apply electrodiagnostic in physiotherapy, IT curve, electrostimulation and electro-magnetic
- application of ultrasound, methods of ultrasound, indications and contraindications of ultrasound therapy
- apply combined physical procedures
