  • 1st week: Registration for lessons.
  • 2nd week: Academic skills: Types of Presentations and Their Characteristic Features: Short Communication, Poster, Report, Supplementary Report, Lecture, Discussion.
  • 3rd week: UNIT 1: Locomotor Apparatus: Bone Markings, Connective Tissue Coverings, Spinal Disorders, Bone Scan.
  • 4th week: UNIT 2: Cardiology: Conduction System of the Heart, Varicose Veins, Cardiac Scan, Doppler Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, Stress Test.
  • 5th week: UNIT 3: Gastroenterology: Digestion, Metabolism, Ulcers, Hernias, Diverticulosis, Barium Enema, Barium Swallow, Gastroscopy, Liver Scan.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka probíhá formou cvičení. Přítomnost ve cvičeních je povinná, tolerují se dvě absence; nejlépe je neúčast nahradit v nejbližším vhodném termínu. Výuka je ukončena kolokviem (k), které má zpravidla pouze ústní část. K jeho složení se vyžaduje prezentace na zvolené téma a aktivní účast ve cvičeních.

Information on completion of the course: Studenti se státní jazykovou zkouškou, příp. jejím ekvivalentem (TOEFL, FCE apod.) mohou vykonat zkoušku kdykoliv během semestru.
