Course objectives
At the end of this exercise the student will be able to apply gained knowledge from working practice, practice in the workroom and can connect it with theoretical knowledge from subject technology, spectacle optic and esthetic and economy of the business.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this exercise the student will be able to apply gained knowledge from working practice, practice in the workroom and can connect it with theoretical knowledge from subject technology, spectacle optic and esthetic and economy of the business. The student will demonstrate knowledge in the State Final Exam.
Syllabus
  • Grind of mono-,bi-, progresssive spectacle lenses into metal, plastic frames, rimmless and semi rimmless mount. Grind of spherical, torical and prismatical correction in all types of spectacle frames. Repairs of spectacles – soldering, exchange of nose pads, drilling the screws, sticking of plastic frames, exchange of pinless front joint and rivet joint. Adaptation of spectacles with respect of anatomical requirements including inclination and set-off the spectacle middle (front). Selection of improved spectacle lenses including giving the reason for their use, recomandation and intructions to client how to use the correction agent including the care of it, offer of supplementary choice. Appraisement of spectacle and optical assesment voucher according to requirements of Health Insurance companies, economy of concrete sale, book of receipts.
