Course objectives
The course gives comprehensive information about possibilities how to provide all kinds of rehabilitative care in the Czech Republic and possibilities of the organization of physiotherapy in the Czech Republic. Students are acquainted with the creation of integrated individual treatment program with the aim of maximum comprehensive rehabilitation of patient. The patients should be returned to their previous activities.
Syllabus
  • Comprehensive rehabilitation and its components
  • Clinical rehabilitation: medical treatment and physiotherapy techniques
  • Educational part of comprehensive rehabilitation: general education, training, vocational training, educational counseling, basics of special education
  • Working part of comprehensive rehabilitation: education for employment, the development of knowledge, skills, development of skills in the process of employment
  • Social part of comprehensive rehabilitation: development of the capacity of social adaptation, the consolidation of self-sufficiency, social ensurennce, housing, transport, the main content of life Psychological part of comprehensive rehabilitation: the formation of the correct identity, cope with disabilities, the development of motivation, suffocation hygiene
  • Technical part of comprehensive rehabilitation: orthopedic aid, orthoptic aid, acoustic devices, removal of external barriers
  • Legal part of comprehensive rehabilitation: laws and directives to ensure the rights of disabled citizens
  • Economic part of comprehensive rehabilitation: the organization of activities, labor productivity
