Course objectives
The subject is of practical nature, consolidates the theoretical information gained in the lectures, emphasizes the practical solution of acute psychiatric conditions, communication and teamwork.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
recognize the symptoms of the most common mental disorders, the symptoms of the first attack of psychotic illnesses,
react early and decide on appropriate emergency health care procedures in detecting these disorders,
solve case / presented by case reports,
to communicate and work in a team accordingly.

  • Nursing process in a patient with acute restlessness,
  • nursing process through non-pharmacological methods,
  • communication principles with restless patient,
  • teamwork.
