Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the principles of human kinesiology and biomechanics, including the basics of developmental kinesiology and movement control, which are essential for their practice.
Learning outcomes
Ability to analyze the movement laws of the motor system and to use these principles in the therapy of the patient.
Syllabus
  • 1. Developmental kinesiology I.
  • 2. Developmental Kinesiology II.
  • 3. Axial skeleton in general (functional division of the axial organ, curvature of the spine, stabilization, spinal sectors).
  • 4. Kinesiology of the cervical and thoracic spine, thoracic fascia.
  • 5. Kinesiology of the lumbar spine, abdominal wall, thoracolumbar fascia, trunk movements.
  • 6. Kinesiology of the brachial plexus.
  • 7. Kinesiology of the elbow and forearm.
  • 8. Kinesiology of the wrist and hand.
  • 9. Kinesiology of breathing.
  • 10. Kinesiology of the pelvic segment and hip joint.
  • 11. Kinesiology of the knee joint.
  • 12. Kinesiology of the ankle and leg.
  • 13. Kinesiology of gait I.
  • 14. Kinesiology of gait II.
