Prerequisites
Students are expected to have a developed sense of independent and regular work. Systematic preparation and especially regularity are a necessary prerequisite for acquiring the essential knowledge of a foreign language. Previous knowledge of Spanish is not requiered, but it is not recommended to enroll in the course even in the case of advanced knowledge of Spanish, it is not fair to real beginners. We refer to the academic honesty of those interested in elective courses at PdF MU.

Course objectives
The course focuses on the development of speech skills for listening, reading and writing. Students also learn the basics of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. The aim of the course is to master the basics of the Spanish language in communication situations of everyday life and to develop linguistic and intercultural competences (A1). The form of blended learning through an online course and several consultations during the semester allows for a gradual deepening of knowledge of the Spanish language.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to master spoken and written Spanish at a specified level (A1) in communication situations of everyday life and develop their communication and intercultural competencies.
Syllabus
  • Students work independently in the e-learning course regularly every week for at least two hours and regularly cooperate with the course teacher. Participation in 4 online seminars in synchronous format (i.e. real time) within seminar groups is mandatory.
