- Pedeutology as a theory.
- The profession of a teacher in Czech educational context.
- Teacher education: basic conceptions in the world, situation in the Czech Republic.
- The Bolognia process and conceptions of teacher education.
- The teacher and teacher education as an object of research.
- Trends in teacher education research.
- Teacher professional competence and knowledge.
- Pedagogical content knowledge.
- Teacher subjective philosophy and professional thinking.

- oral exam;
to submit at least 4 abstracts from foreign literature focusing on teacher education;
to defend an at least partially realized project of pedeutological research - Language of instruction
