Course objectives
The lectures deals with explanation of the fundamental phonetic a phonemic concepts and terms, with the orthophonic and orthoepic principles, of the system of vowels and consonants, with the syllable structure, segmentation of the continuous speech and variants of the phonemes in the speech.

  • 1. Fundamental concepts of phonetic and phonology. 2. Orthophony and orthoepie. 3. Vowels, consonants 4. Structure of the syllables. 5. Segmentation of the continuous speech. Phonemic variants in the speech. 6. The literary Czech pronunciation. Graphemes.
