Course objectives
The main objective of the subject is that the students understand a broader pedeutological context of the topic of their dissertation thesis (deploying knowledge and experience from its processing) and thus improve their knowledge of this currently developing scientific branch.
Syllabus
  • Topics Pedeutology as the theory of the profession of the teacher. The profession of the teacher in the Czech educational context. Teacher education: the main foreign conceptions, the situation in Czech Republic. The Bologna process and teacher education conceptions. Further teacher education. Personality dimension in teacher education. Teacher and teacher education as a subject of educational research. The trends in teacher education research abroad and in the CR. Professional competence and teacher knowledge. Pedagogical knowledge (knowledge and skills). From implicit teaching theories to pedagogical knowledge. Explicit and implicit pedagogical knowledge. The process of becoming a teacher, experience learning, self-reflection. Teachers conception of teaching, teachers pedagogical thinking. Teachers professional growth.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Typ zkoušky: ústní Předložit minimálně čtyři konspekty z prostudované zahraniční literatury (zaměřené k učitelské profesi a vzdělávání učitelů). Obhájit alespoň částečně realizovaný projekt pedeutologického výzkumu (jako základ disertační práce).
