Course objectives
The goal is to give a survey of the history of material and spiritual culture and arts (painting, music, literature) on the territory of to-day France. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at the school.

  • 1. Romanesque culture. 2. Gothic culture. 3. Renaissance culture. 4. Classicism. 5. Enlightenment. 6. Romanticism. 7. Secession.

Assessment methods
Type of classwork: seminary. Workshop Ending: credit. Requirements for ending: meet the workshop requirements and the active participation (70%). Test (as a successful test is considered one with at least 70 % right answers).
