- Course objectives
- This is a web-based course supported by moodle. Via web-links and by using files, students can read reviews and watch trailers to the films presented in a particular semester. Students also participate in on-line discussion forums where they express their opinion on a film they viewed. They further evaluate the films from the point of learning language and culture relevance. The list of films change each semester.
The main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to improve language proficiency;
to learn about culture and societies of English speaking countries;
to see and understand how cultures are mirrored in the Anglo-Saxon film production. - Syllabus
- Films of British and/or American Film Production. Various genres: comedy, drama, thriller. 6 - 7 films per semester.

Chose one of the following:
a) write a review of a film of your choice (NB: choice limited to the films we have viewed this term)
or
b) write a personal reflection on a film character(s) and/or a personal opinion on one of the films.
