The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The student will know the problematics of the speech therapy; of the communication process and the speech development; he will have knowlege of the utilization of the supports, aids and instruments in speech therapy practice. The student will learn more about the etiology, symptomatolgy, classification, diagnostical process of the communication disability.
Syllabus
  • Speech therapy, its conception and interprofessional cooperation. Communication process - verbal and nonverbal communication and its importance in our life. Ontogeny of the speech, influence of the psychological and social factors. The concept, classification, symptomalotogy of particular forms of the communication disabilities. The utilization of the supports, aids and instruments in speech therapy practice.
