Course objectives
After completing the series of lectures the students should be able to gain basic knowledge of German phonetics and phonology and formulate differences between German and Czech pronunciation.

Syllable, word, sentence 9. Quantity, stress, intonation 10. Typical pronunciation mistakes of Czech native speakers

Teaching methods
Lectures; We divide the fundamentals of phonetics and phonology into 10 topics. For each topic we provide examples of a correct German pronunciation.
